Happy Women’s Day: Acknowledgement of your Divinity & Expression of Gratitude

International Women’s day is being celebrated on 8th March 2021. It is easy to speak a few words on this day and forget quickly but it’s difficult to realize the significance and divinity behind the feminine power and keep committed to serving it.

Women’s day is celebrated globally to acknowledge the strength of women power in social, cultural and economic segments. It’s a salute to their selfless struggles and commitment which they have done for the humanity and betterment of the entire civilization.

Indian literature defines a "Woman" as a form of nature that is a base of humanity. There are 3 dedicated chapter ie. Atma Suktam is also known as Devi Suktam, Savitri Suktam and Saraswati Suktam in Rig Veda defining the glory and significance of feminine power.  It is really difficult to define in words but easy to understand that there is no existence of human life without you. You are an abode of love, compassion, sacrifice, forgiveness and much more beyond the words can describe; you are a teacher, who initiates all upbringing of a human in this world; you are an Angel to bring warmth, love and compassion. There is nothing significant without you.

Since childhood, we have been taught about your different forms like Gargi, Maitreyi, Sita, Kunti, Draupadi, Tara, Mandodari, Ahilya, Radha, Meera, Durgawati, and Manikarnika etc. In modern times too, you have glorified the name and fame of Aryawarta in the world through your dedication. For example, Kalpana Chawla, Saina Nehwal, Sania Mirza, Marricom, Indira Gandhi, Sushma Swaraj AND MANY MORE UNCOUNTED AND UNREALIZED.

As the abundant form of nature which includes not only the flowing rivers, seas, mountains, plains, forests and deserts, in the same way, you are brought into this world with varied forms. As a "daughter", you bring love and harmony for parents, as a "sister", your guide and support siblings to grow-up and become educated & cultured, as a "lover" you understand the feelings & emotions and take care, as a "better half" you take-up the responsibilities by sacrificing yourself and give a feeling of bliss, as a "colleague & teammate" you support in achieving the organisational objectives at the workplace, as a "mother" you are the first teacher who brings us to the world and helps us grow and groom in all phases of life. Overall, a Woman is a symbol of giveness and forgiveness.

Despite having uncountable specialities, which cannot be written when we see instances of gang rapes, harassment and human trafficking, we feel shame on our own humanity. Therefore, let us remind ourselves to be committed to giving back to this form of nature, whatever we can. Let us protect them, support them in education, give them opportunities to grow in their career, give them priority in facilities and respect them which they naturally deserve. Last but not the least, let us educate our new generations to respect Women. I don’t have much knowledge and skill to write about you so concluding this article with following worlds.
Happy Women's day.

  1. As a man (even as a woman also) the easiest way to acknowledge the women is to pay respect and also teach our new generation to do so... The article is really nice.. and your video clip was like "cherry on the cake"...👍
