Role of teachers in Selfless Service

The profession of a teacher is the most responsible in any country. If teachers lead a life of discipline and values then their pupils will be able to shape themselves into ideal individuals and citizens.
Without Guru one can not cross this ocean of birth and death. That’s why it is said that God also helps those who are blessed by their Guru’s. That’s why it was said that Guru and God both met the student at a time. He was confused about to whom he should Greet first. Looking upon his confusion God himself advised him to Greet his Guru first. This is the importance of Guru in our culture.
From the history you can find that Shivajee was guided and supported by Samarth Guru Ramdas. Similarly, Chandra Gupta was taught by Acharya Chanakya. Meaning thereby a man can not be succeed in life without guidance of his Guru. It is the selfless service and scarify of Guru and pupil both which transformed the society at that time.
Teacher should not show his authority before the children rather remain humble and renounce the tone of power. This is Sadhana for the teacher. Revere the role of Guru as blessing of God. This attitude can ensure success of a journey for the individual and the society.
The task of Guru is to create an individual as children of immorality. The guru helps the pupil in growing, and blossoming. He monitors progress and guards the child.
During the journey many doubts appears in mind of the children which Guru weeds out through logic.

If Guru and parents foster values in children then society could have students committed for service. Each person will see another as replica of divine.
